Google Ads Enhances AI Max Reporting with New Columns
Google Ads is rolling out new AI Max-related reporting columns, giving advertisers more visibility into several of the settings influencing their Search campaigns.
What’s New
Advertisers can now add columns for Locations of interest, Optimized targeting, and Brand inclusions to their Google Ads reporting views.

Locations of Interest
This column can help advertisers identify campaigns using location-of-interest settings, making it easier to analyze how geographic intent factors into targeting and performance.
Optimized Targeting
Advertisers gain another way to see where Google’s automated audience expansion is being used, helping teams compare campaign configurations alongside their results.
Brand Inclusions
The new column provides greater visibility into where brand inclusion settings are applied, particularly useful for advertisers using AI Max while trying to maintain more control over the brands associated with campaign targeting.
Why We Care
The update is relatively small, but it addresses a recurring challenge with increasingly automated campaigns: understanding exactly which controls are influencing delivery. Bringing these settings into campaign reporting makes it easier to audit setups, compare campaigns, and investigate performance differences without digging through individual campaign settings.
The Rollout
The new columns are still rolling out, so they may not yet appear in every Google Ads account.
The Bottom Line
These columns don’t change how AI Max operates, but they give advertisers a clearer view of the settings behind it — making campaign analysis and optimization a little less opaque.
